In my chemistry cl we have to do a project where we are asked to imagine that we are living in the year 2033 and describe a recent breakthrough or innovation in chemistry that has improved people's lives. The categories are alternative energy sources, medicine/health, environment, and new materials. This is a senior AP cl so ideas can be fairly advanced. An idea I had was using atmospheric electricity in the thermosphere to convert oxygen into ozone. This might be too simple though. Another idea was to design a new material to land on the surface of Venus, but I am not familiar with how materials absorb and displace heat...Any help at all would be great, thanks.
