What are ways that the protestant or reform religions were different than Catholicism?

Erm... First off, the person they prey to. Catholics prey to Mary (mother of Jesus) and Protestants prey to God. And the powers are different. If you're Catholic you have your priest and nuns and people like that, but Protestants usually have their preacher and some others, all of which are less conrolled by their religion (nuns and such don't marry because of theirs). The way they interpret the Bible is different. And Catholics are usually more influenced by their religions. And Catholics confess at M. Protestants don't.
