Vauxhall Corsa trip odometer no lit?

I have a 2005 Vauxhall Corsa SXi and the trip on the dashboard isn't illuminating, can very faintly see the mileage. Does anyone know if this requires a change of bulb if there is one or any other reason why it might go out.
