OK tell me if I'm the only one who thinks this is REALLY STUPID!?

The Florida lotto came up with this new thing where you can pay extra money to win a bigger pot. Buy a $1 lotto chance for $2 and you can win more money, for $3 even more yet. But I think the people who pay more for each ticket as opposed to putting the cash toward more chances to win are idiots. I mean lets face it, the chances of winning are tiny, but if you buy as many numbers as you can with your cash you are at least increasing your chances of winning something, even if only a little. If I had $30 to spend on lotto, I'll be @$**@% if I would buy only 10 chances and waste all that extra money hoping for a bigger payout on the weensy chance I did win instead of increasing my chances by buying 30 numbers! Does my logic make sense, or do you disagree?
