How do you find horizontal distance only given Velocity and Launch Angle?

use vectors and the Cartesian coordinate plane. resolve the X and Y velocities. can't give you the answer--that would be unethical. but a little googling on the above concepts should get you diagrams, formulas and everything. The basic concept is, once the initial forces have been turned off, the X and Y velocities can be resolved separately. Are you ignoring air friction by the way? And are you supposed to take into account gravity?
