What would happen to the school if i had a accident?

Ok so every Monday and Thursday i have science and we've been working on acids and alkalis. We do expierements with sulphuric acid, bleach and other acids and alkalis WITHOUT gloves or lab coats. All we get is goggles. So if i had a accident it would be the schools fault? I almost got the acid on my hands before when i the bottle got knocked over... lol
